MOLD.  This is a word home owners or business owners dread to hear.  Mold can cause all kinds of issues and can be expensive to fix when you have a big problem.  Molds grow best in dark, damp, humid and warm conditions.  Mold spreads by reproducing spores.  Some molds can grow in a harsher condition as well.  Some common indoor molds are Cladosporium, Penicillium, Alternaria and Aspergillus.  Some people are more sensitive to molds and it can cause them to have skin and eye irritations.  People with allergies and lung conditions can develop infections, according to the CDC.  

Here are a few locations that are more likely to have mold issues in your area: 

• Antique shops
• Greenhouses
• Saunas
• Farms
• Mills
• Construction areas
• Flower shops
• Summer cottages
